Shooter List Updates

New Shooter Lists - Almost FULL!

Two months from the day we opened registration and we have 714 shooters for the Cowboy Nationals and 111 for the Wild Bunch Nationals. For your convenience, shooter lists are attached.

All online registrations have been recorded and confirmation emails have been sent. Please verify that all your registration information is correct. If you did not receive an email with the above logo, please let us know using the link below. (Please check your spam folder first.)

Six more shooters will take us to our maximum number of shooters of 720. We will take 26 more applications before we start a wait list, as we always have 30 – 50 cancellations.

Please remember, the last day for a full refund and category changes is July 1. As soon as we reach our 720 mark we will start calling shooters to condense categories to meet the SASS minimum requirements.

Land Run 2026 Costume Contest Info

Changes to Costume Contest for 2026

Shotglass is pleased to announce the 2026 Land Run costume contest. We were thrilled by the participation last year and are honored to have the opportunity to sponsor the costuming awards again in 2026. We learned a few things and will add further improvements to our processes to smooth things out even more.

  • No pre-registration is needed, just show up.
  • We will start judging earlier and have our own private room at the museum.
  • Entries will be color coded to make knowing which judge panel to go to easier.
  • We have added a Military Lady category to the awards

If you are worried about having a story or a presentation about your outfit; this is NOT required. You are being judged on your outfit, not your “speech”. There are three ways the judges can learn about your outfit:

  • You can have a story that explains your outfit and accoutrements.
  • You can explain your outfit in a straightforward way.
  • The judges can simply ask you questions.
